   This was my first meal at Kiran's. Everything was really excellent. The service was attentive but not overbearing, the food was beautiful and delicious. We had the soup flight, tomato and barrata salad, the butter chicken and seafood curry. The fresh naan was right out of the oven - we actually had to let it cool. We will be back.

   LOVE this restaurant. Kiran never disappoints. The food is incredible, and clearly the best Indian food in Houston!

   Getting to the restaurant and using the valet service Wes extremely easy, but once we walked into the restaurant that’s when the service went down. The host seemed annoyed and uninterested in providing a friendly experience for my boyfriend and I. We get seated in the back room, with a table that is located in between two rooms and has lots of foot traffic. The birthday dinner’s surprise was being bumped by everyone walking by throughout the evening. The good news, the server and food were fantastic and helped showcase why Kiran’s is fine dining. All things considered if the host had provided a warmer experience, and our table located somewhere that didn’t feel like an interstate exchange, it would have been a 5/5.

   Excellent dining experience in a beautiful setting, our server Cynthia was exceptional as always (she served us previous times as well and was consistently attentive and professional). Chai was the best I’ve had.

   We went for afternoon tea and it was exquisite! Thank you so much for having us. The harp player was an excellent tough and food/tea were delicious. Service was top notch. Will dine here again.

   Tried a couple of tasting journeys the chef recommended. But chef couldn’t get food out right. First course took 50 minutes to come out. Second course in one tasting was not right item. Bland, tasteless substitute. Then dessert samosas were on the menu. Then delayed. Then off. Then finally back on. After nearly 4 hours of exhausting execution, pain and discomfort resembled that of a long flight in a cramped seat. Server apologized. Chose to leave. Then they couldn’t box remaining courses up right. Dahl missing. Then channa added. Ended up with someone else’s? Meats prepared great. Flavors repetitive on the vegetarian courses, from first plate to the same spice profile on the dessert and most every plate in between.
