With a mission to deliver hearty culinary experience. with Japanese spirit.we have started the Kishin Project in Kyoto.
The word Kishin comes from zen. The literal meaning of 喜心 is joyful mind. The character “食” (meaning meal in Japanese) is structured with a combination of the characters “人” (meaning person) and “良” (meaning good);Kishin is based on a belief that preparing and having a meals are all part of training, and therefore should all be regarded as a precious and joyful act in a daily life. Now there are two Breakfast Kishin restaurants in Japan. Breakfast Kishin provides a Japanese cuisine experience through local style breakfast, with a particular focus on using fresh, local ingredients. And sometimes they are places for guest chefs to meet with the locals and visitors, and vice versa.
The visiting chefs will open a pop-up restaurant for a limited time.
With professional grade facilities, it is an ideal place for the visiting chefs to fully express themselves.
