    Food was delicious though could have been hotter. Service was good - very pleasant waiter. Food was slightly overpriced we thought, an expensive restaurant, not cheap for what you get. However we would return.

    Very decent meal, wine was on the expensive side but overall a good experience

    Thank you for the 5 star review David! We understand our wine list may be feature some more premium prices, however we feel the price reflects the quality of the wine, and the variety makes sure there's something for everyone. We look forward to serving you again in the future!

    If you want very good food and a reasonable wine list then here is your place. The food we all had last night was excellent, Turkey, the pie and the diet orientated venison scotch egg was beautifully crafted and beyond delicious. Unfortunately next to us were some very loud older gentleman which meant we sometimes ended up talking louder to hear ourselves. Nobody’s fault just luck. They had a good time as well. Bless but Winter, spring or summer the Kites a great place to go.

    Great food and service, nicely decorated for Christmas. Beef short rib pie tasted amazing with the gravy, just wish there was more meat in the pie.
