Welcome to Koko by Bakan. Nestled in the natural tree canopy of Coconut Grove, our 6,000 square-foot indoor and outdoor restaurant & bar transports guests to Mexico with its sophisticated and artistic design, cacti garden, and outdoor bar & terrace. Our 170 seat restaurant & bar conveys a fun, lively and warm environment to enjoy a true Mexican experience - from our open view kitchen allowing guests to witness the art of handcrafted tortilla making to our spectacular display wall showcasing more than 400 mezcales and tequilas.

    This was my second time at Koko. It is a very nice setting, especially outdoors. It became clear to me this time that the emphasis is on selling tequila and mezcal. The food is good, although only tepid when it arrived at our table. Though I still like this restaurant very much, I may admire the business model more.

    Me and my husband love Koko. We go every Saturday night and usually sit at the bar. Everyone is so welcoming and make us feel right at home. Thank you for always giving us A1+ experiences each time we visit. The food is always amazing! Barby & Jose

    Beautiful space that opens up to the outdoors. The food and service were both excellent. Shout out to our server Marlon who took excellent care of us and took extra time and effort to help us find non-spicy food on the menu for one of our guests. Definitely going back!

    Was our first time here. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Everything was cooked exceptionally well and tasted amazing. Our waiter Angel was top notch, attentive, friendly and courteous. The ambiance is a place you could definitely take a date to or have a birthday dinner with family members or friends. Will definitely come back!
