Welcome to Koko by Bakan. Nestled in the natural tree canopy of Coconut Grove, our 6,000 square-foot indoor and outdoor restaurant & bar transports guests to Mexico with its sophisticated and artistic design, cacti garden, and outdoor bar & terrace. Our 170 seat restaurant & bar conveys a fun, lively and warm environment to enjoy a true Mexican experience - from our open view kitchen allowing guests to witness the art of handcrafted tortilla making to our spectacular display wall showcasing more than 400 mezcales and tequilas.

    Overall we had a great brunch that lasted about 4 hours. The cocktails were amazing (the guava with mezcal at the top suggested by our waiter George). The food we ordered was delicious cooked to perfection and we enjoyed everything that George our waiter recommended. We will definitely go back and told our friends and family about it. The service was impeccable just like the food! George was awesome 💗

    This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The short rib is to die for omg. This place is superb. Will be coming back asap!!!

    We had dinner at Koko for our anniversary; glad we did! Had a wonderful experience overall. Gustavo was wonderful hosting us; his recommendations for drinks and food were on point. Everything was delicious. We can't wait to come back with friends! Recommend 100%

    We shared the whole red snapper which was cooked to perfection and devoured every bite., then finished with their amazing churros (stuffed with melted chocolate and accompanied with caramel sauce. It was a fabulous meal for my husband’s 65th birthday! Bravo to Koko’s.

    The food was amazing. Wanted to lick the plates clean. The reservation system and waitlist definitely needs to be fixed. The ambience and food is worth the wait!
