KONA Steak & Seafood was voted the "Best New Restaurant" winner on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula for 2023. Located in the popular Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey, just minutes from Carmel, Pacific Grove, & all Peninsula cities.
A fabulous menu! Enjoy fresh seafood, lobster, Hawaiian loco moco, fresh ahi tuna, a great bacon cheeseburger, bone-in rib eye, miso-glazed seabass, filet mignon, macadamia nut crusted halibut, entree salads, cioppino, seafood pasta, Maui onion soup, coconut curry soup, and a large host of enticing appetizers. Enjoy KONA's generous portions, good value, & free abundant parking! The house baked desserts are worth a trip on their own..... incredible!! The gorgeous "ZenDen Bar" features full bar & "Tiki Bar" style concoctions curated with house made ingredients, and nightly Happy Hour from 3:00-9:00pm. Local wine list, craft draft beers, kid's menu, dog-friendly lanai/patio dining, continuous lunch & dinner service 7 days a week from 11:00am.

    It was our first time eating at Kona. It was above and beyond what we had expected. Good food, great service, nice ambiance and the prices were reasonable. We will be retuning🤓

    A lively spot with excellent service, but the food was at best serviceable. Nothing particularly special and not worthy of "high end" dining.

    My 5star rating tells it all . Ask for a table serviced by Donna .Best server /person who ever waited on me . All employees appeared aa though they were enjoying themselves .

    Last night was my first visits to this restaurant and it was great. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with professional and courtesy. Our server was a beautiful young woman. She was attentive but not overly and our order was perfect. The food was delicious and delivered hot. I will return ASAP.

    The servicing staff was excellent, polite and attentive. The food was great and came fast. There are many options on the menu to please all. A great place for a birthday, anniversary, or casual dinner. Dress casual but not like you just got out of bed.

    Our first time there - but definitely won’t be our last. Everything was terrific. Seabass tacos outstanding as was the teriyaki steak my husband ordered. Great for lunch- then shopping for the gals - the bar for the boys!

    love this place. the hosts are the best ever! the staff is always professional and knowledgeable; the food is excellent. and the atmosphere is better than anything we get in the South Bay, we come here every time we're in Monterey because it's a treat!

    The food was fabulous we took some friends with us it was wonderful the food was cooked to perfection we will definitely go to Konas again it is my favorite restaurant in Monterey and I have lived here all my life !!
