We started at the speakeasy next door. The host at the beginning was very sweet and had amazing customer service. Upon sitting down at the bar, at the very unstable bar stools, the bartenders seemed to be not interested in being there. I had to greet him, ask how he was doing and It seemed as though I was bothering him. If I am sitting at your bar, I expect to be greeted but maybe that’s different at this establishment. After our cocktails, we went over to have dinner. We were sat immediately when we entered. The server was kind but we were never greeted. We were just asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered to pear martinis. The Martinis were delicious but on the sweeter side. Food wise, we ordered the scallops, the steak and lobster. The steak was not seasoned with salt or pepper. Scallops were delicious and the lobster dish was awesome. Overall, we had a decent experience. But I probably won’t travel out of my way to visit this restaurant again. We started our evening at the speakeasy next door, where the host was incredibly sweet and provided amazing customer service — definitely a great first impression. However, once seated at the bar on very unstable stools, the energy shifted. The bartenders seemed disengaged and uninterested. I had to initiate conversation, greeting the bartender and asking how he was doing, which felt more like an inconvenience than a welcome. A simple greeting goes a long way, especially when sitting at the bar, but unfortunately, that hospitality was lacking. After our cocktails, we moved over to the restaurant for dinner. We were seated immediately, which was a plus, but again, there was no warm welcome — just a direct question about what we wanted to drink. Our server was polite but not particularly warm or engaging. We ordered pear martinis, which were delicious but on the sweeter side.
For dinner, we ordered the scallops, steak, and lobster. The scallops were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. All out of space to write more.
