“Kouzina is a little slice of Greek heaven nestled away from the hustle and bustle of byron. The food, atmosphere and friendly staff make this place unforgettable, and you’ll swear you’ve been transported to a taverna on a Greek island.     The first Day of this Summer marks Kouzina Byron Bay’s 6th annual birthday. This year, we have decided to pay tribute to the Ancients by throwing a big party Greek Style, in other words, it’s Panayiri time! So, In hope to get on the good side of the Greek Saints, we are inviting everyone along to celebrate together here at Kouzina Byron Bay. Offerings will include banquet tables of typical Greek food & complimentary wine along with live Greek music and traditional dance. Dress in your best village attire with comfortable shoes for dancing.

    A great night out with the RED GINGER team. Everything was so easy from booking and accommodating dietary requirements to the service and the food. Highly recommended

    Love the environment and the idea of this place. Staff were super friendly and the amount of food served was decent. Was really thankful that they were able to cater for us as vegetarians, but I wasn't astounded by many of the dishes. Thought some of them would have benefited with even just a little salt or olive oil. Was also pretty freezing outside, even with puffer jackets, so some heating through winter would be awesome. Overall, I liked the place. Sweet vibe. Cool concept. Lovely staff.

    We had a very disappointing experience at Kouzina last weekend. We were seated outside and there were no heaters. Even with supplied blankets it was cold as we didn't expect to be seated outside and didn't have adequate jackets. The food was quite ordinary and they are clearly cost cutting. The dips were average, there was no Greek salad or haloumi (which we've had previously), goat instead of lamb and the goat dish was full of small bones and quite bland in taste. The spanakopita was ordinary and didn't taste fresh. We brought friends from Melbourne and they were very underwhelmed. We explained to them that we had previously found the food to be delicious. For $65 a head it was not value for money. We won't be back based on this experience. Such a shame as we've always loved Kouzina.

    The team at Kouzina continue to deliver on a tasty, thoughtfully crafted 3 course meal which is so lovingly curated it tastes home cooked and very authentic. The staff always make you feel welcomed and embraced and there is always an interesting mix of people. As Byron locals we always bring visitors to Kouzina to experience the best of Byron - local produce, local ingenuity and neighbourhood friendliness.

    We always love eating at Kouzina. The staff are always fantastic and the food is amazing. I love the feel of the gravel under my feet, the beautiful outdoor lighting and the authentic Greek feel. Kouzina gives me a little Greek Islands fix, whenever I am craving some Europe time.
