Former Nobu London Chef Adison Lee brings his imagination to life with his restaurant KUU in Houston. Chef Adison Lee uses unique flavor combinations to take you on a journey of culinary excellence. Features a seasonal menu and responsibly fished seafood from local fishermen and the world famous Tsukiji Fish Market in Japan. KUU is committed to serving small, sharable plates with stimulating flavors and plating. Our devotion to responsibly sourcing our products shows through the ever evolving seasonal menu. The menu has changed since I was there. I spent $50 for saka nave (rice with fish) and tuna tartar (bits of tuna swimming in a green sauce). The food was not great and neither was the service. The waitress explained an item as protein, carb and something else. When I asked what is this, she said, I told you protein, And I said what type of protein and she said chicken. I don’t plan on returning and I would not recommend, I was there at 11:30 AM

I had the omakase and it was more of a pre set menu than anything else. Most dishes were boring and simple. Seared tuna salad was basic, the 5 types of almost the same sashimi in a bowl boring, the 5 nigiri was the only good part and was nothing more than the selection at a basic sushi restaurant.

Best sushi in Houston Texas! The japanese fish arrivals are just perfect and vary with the seasons. The more sophisticated menu dishes such as the Kampachio or Hamachio that combine fish with citrus are just a delight. If you are into meat the hot rock beaf just melts in your mouth. Even the deserts are delicious at Kuu! The only small downside is that it is a little bit expensive, but the quality of the ingredients just makes it all worth it!

Excellent high end authentic Japanese food. They have the usual wagyuu and sushi, but also had exceptional uni pasta, dobinmushi, and miso black cod. Would recommend it and will return.

The food was excellent, but the service was not that great. The waitress took forever to bring my straw and napkins while she was standing there being on her phone the whole time.
