L. P. steamers or Locust Point Steamers is crab shack that is known for offering fresh shellfish and seafood and local favorites such as hot steamed crabs. The diner has a rustic charm and an inviting atmosphere that welcomes guests. There are some other dishes on the menu as well. For appetizers for instance, diners can order onion rings, shrimp puffs, calamari and chicken tenders among others. Locust Point Steamers serves special hot steamed crabs all year long, but diners can also order other seasonal seafood. Main dishes on Locust Point Steamers's menu include a range of seafood dishes which come with sauces that go well with them and some are served by the basket-full. Fried seafood includes soft crab, popcorn shrimp, clam strips, oysters and classic fish and chips to name a few. Diners can also order a range of sandwiches which also includes burgers.
