Locally designed with the help of some of Toronto’s best street-style artists, La Carnita is the spot to enjoy delicious tacos, a handful of churros, run through a mixtape, and wash it all down with a fresh cocktail or beer. Our aim is to serve up a dynamic menu, and connect with the community through our love of art & music.

In the heart of Little Italy, we opened our very first “Westside” La Carnita. This location includes a small but sunny patio, spots to people-watch from, and comfortable booths for groups. Though Little Italy is home to many great spots, from here La Carnita was able to quickly become a Toronto staple. By offering an irresistible menu of delicious tacos, tostadas, and sharing plates, while creating a vibrant atmosphere, Westside has remained the place to be for the past seven years.

    Located in the heart of Little Italy is our very first LC location. This is where the once pop-up based concept became a reality and where many people in Toronto first got to know us. Though we're surrounded by some amazing neighbours La Carnita stands alone as a Mexican offering in the area.

    Having been to other La Carnita locations, this was consistent, but also more “meh” all at once. Good was great, but also it’s been better. Everything came quickly enough but also we felt rushed. Four of us seated and we were being rushed out in less than 90 min. There were certainly other available tables so it wasn’t really clear why. Also the tres leches cake was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Added icing and other crap that is just needless. Great tacos, drinks are consistently good (although pricey as Toronto tends to be) but it’s very loud and service was occasionally unwelcome. PS, while they make a very good michelada, don’t ask for that because apparently they’ve never heard of it? Need to ask for an “OG Chelada”

    Great vibe, food and service. Love those spicy Margaritas! The beef short ribs and nachos are amazing, as were the tacos.

    It's corn season in ontario but definitely not at la carnita. You can get better corn at the grocery store in february

    Food was awesome, refreshing, flavourful, exciting. The service was great. The staff were so kind and attentive. Recommend the mushroom tostada and the churros!

    We were the only two ppl there so the vibes just weren’t there but Tacco Tuesday and Tiger Shrimp appetizer were both as good as other locations.
