Locally designed with the help of some of Toronto’s best street style artists, La Carnita is the spot to enjoy delicious tacos, a handful of churros, run through a mixtape, and wash it all down with a fresh cocktail or beer. Our aim is to serve up a dynamic menu, and connect with the community through our love of art & music.

Located in the financial district is La Carnita’s South Central location in a beautiful two-story heritage building. The upstairs makes for an engaging venue, seating 55 guests with its own bar.

Loved the food. The flavors were amazing, portions were just right, and service had no delays. The only thing missing was a coffee or Espresso on the menu.

Delicious ! Service was fast as it was the theatre district so they know what they are doing there. Had the specials and happy hour drinks so it was affordable. ☺️

The Chorizo platter daily feature was underwhelming. Basically build your own taco. Although the chorizo was spicy and tasty it was a small portion for two people. Some of the sides should have been more plentiful, especially the guacamole. Disappointed, should have ordered something else. Margarita was good however not much of that either as the small glass containers three larger ice cubes.

Upon arrival, hostess staff very unfriendly. Food is overpriced for value. Nachos arrived burnt and were replaced at no charge which was appreciated but we should never received the food burnt in the first place. Waitress was pleasant but again not overly friendly. We have eaten there several times but I think this is our last time.
