   Great service, terrific food with a flair and in the summer the outdoor dining is lovely. In the winter, enjoy the wonderful live music while dining. Always a wonderful experience.

   I was searching for authentic Spanish; the place is very pleasant, outdoor patio. I ordered cheviche mixto, the flavor was great, one thing that I noticed was that they slide every shrimp right in the middle, don’t know what is the reason of that but in my mind I though they want to saved money which doesn’t look good on a ceviche platter. The yuca sticks were very greasy. I also tried the arepa (chicken and avocado) which it had a very good flavor. Arepas is one of their main tapas in Valenzuela food tradition. I will have to give the place a second chance if I ever go back to MA.

   I am so lucky that Casa de Pedro is one of my neighborhood restaurants. The food is fresh and inventive, from the tapas (ceviche, arepas, cheese, mushrooms, shrimp, you name it) to the seafood to the Venezuelan comfort food like the pabellon de criollo (one of my favorites). The wine list excellent and varied, the cocktails delicious and imaginative, and they have the best dessert in the world: Chocolate flan. And live salsa on Saturdays!

    Food was good, fish a tad over cooked. Calimari was chewy, should have got the nachos. Our server was practically non existent, and had to wait for several things while we saw other tables around us being helped. Usually very nice here but this experience gives me pause to visit again.
