Our group of five arrived at 5:15 for a comedy show across the street starting at 7:30. Our server Albert was very polite and knew this was our agenda. Two of our party received their appetizers yet the third one was forgotten and we had to remind our server. It appeared that there were only two servers in the entire restaurant that was filled with people going to the show. We waited over an hour and a half for our food, main dish to arrive and had to hurry and eat so that we could get to the opening act of the show Albert, our server was as attentive as I guess he could be with hardly any servers in the restaurant. I blame this mess on the restaurant itself for not having enough staff on hand nor cooks. I would be very reluctant to return to Lacasa despite the food being Good if they cannot provide you with a relaxing dinner experience and get you to the show on time especially when you’re there 2 1/4 hours early

Service was amazing! Darling (I hope I’ve got that right) was a joy to have as our server! I lost my wallet and she was so kind and concerned for me! I found it by the way… can’t wait to be back! Great martinis!

We were a group of 4 in on Saturday Oct 26, 2024, for the dinner and Sammy Jackson show. I have to say that the show itself was delightful, and Sammy was amazing. The place was so busy, and everyone was so close together that the waitress and staff helpers kept hitting your chair, which made it difficult to enjoy the show. We sat down to a reservation for 7:15pm and did not get asked for a drink until close to 8pm. The service this night was awful to say the least and when we approached the owner about what happened we got lots of excuse's and promises. We reached out like he asked us to via phone call and email and still we have not heard back. He is a new owner of this restaurant and has told us that he has only had the place for a few months. That is fine but clearly, he doesn't care about customer service. I wish he had reached out to us.

The experience was excellent overall, music and food were exactly as I hoped, better actually! The only issue was the event was WAY understaffed! As someone with many years of experience in the service industry, including fine dining I was shocked that the event was not better staffed, the server did an excellent job, as best she could, i have been to La Casa before and has the same server, I know she is fabulous, it was evident that she was not properly supported in staff. It appeared she was the only one serving the tables in the back of the restaurant where the event took place. I am most impressed with her for doing such an incredible job, at rhetorical same time by speaking with multiple people around it seems the consensus is that we all felt bad that she didn’t have adequate support and was clearly run off her feet. With that said, I look forward to many more jazz events at this restaurant as it has been a favourite of mine for approx 20yrs. Always incredible food, atmosphere is like non other and service is spot on (when staffed accordingly).

Lovely owner and our server is the best in town. The music was incredible. I hope to see more live music! London lacks in great live music at restaurants. We will be back!😊

Picked it because of the proximity to Canada life building and concert. Was a little worried based on reviews I had read. Well we should have listened to them. Portions were very small. Bruschetta was one slice of very thin bread they serve in the bread basket cut into 5 bite size pieces with tomatoe onion mix with n it. Was ridiculous for the price. The lasagna was the worst my husband has ever had and my angel hair was just ok. Shrimp over cooked and scallops were very soggy. The servers were very nice and cheerful. Not their fault the food did not live up to expectations. Will not be going back.

My husband and I absolutely love La Casa and we’re excited to try it for the first time under the new management. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to our past experience. We hope it is just a case of “growing pains” as it switches hands. Firstly, I had made a reservation for four, as we were meeting my parents. They arrived first and had my OpenTable reservation on hand. La Casa had no record of my reservation, and my parents had to advocate to receive our table. I ordered the angel hair pasta and my noodles were a little undercooked and completely clumped together. The seafood was also not the quality I am used to at this restaurant by any means. It reminded me of what seafood may be served at East Side Mario’s. My husband had the gnocchi and quite enjoyed it. However, he had also ordered a beer and our waiter, although kind and friendly, clearly did not know how to properly pour it, as 3/4 of his glass was just head. The environment was lovely and everyone was friendly. We hope to see the quality come back up to what you would expect when dining at La Casa!
