Family Owned and Operated
About the Owner: Mr. Kulici is currently pursuing his professional career here in Louisiana. After 25 years he has devoted an exasperating amount of time and creativity to the art of food and hospitality. Consistency and culinary drive sets his goals to constant expansion and entrepreneur opportunities that are currently unfolding here in Louisiana. LaContea Italian Restaurant has now been open since February of 2017. The modern Italian ambiance and cuisine is touched with elements of traditionalism and flavor that brings more nuance to the idea of comfort Italian food.
Mr. Kulici just released his most recent updated seasonal menu as of November 2023.
With over 170 different wines to choose from, LaContea is constantly expanding its repertoire to create a masterpiece selection that truly has something for everyone and features service bar with classic brands and local distributions alike.

    Tour of Italy was great. Steak need tad bit more seasoning and the salad was good overall experience was nice. Great and attentive waitress

    Ever since my wife and I found La Contea several years ago we’ve been coming for every birthday and anniversary. Always a very nice experience. Food is delicious, ambience is nice and open. And the staff is outstanding.

    As always, the food was excellent, and even though the restaurant was busy, our server was completely attentive. One of the great things about this restaurant, is that the live entertainment is kept at a reasonable volume, so the diners can actually speak with one another simultaneously with the music if they so choose. We are there, after all, to enjoy each other’s company, not for a concert.

    Excellent Service . The food was very, very good. The steak was very tender, juicy, and super flavorful. Harold is an excellent waiter and very keen on when to be at the table and not to be at the table. Overall very nice experience and I will return again.

    It is a fantastic place to go for dinner. Anything from by yourself or a large party. (You will need to reserve that in advance.) Excellent live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

    Their restaurant week menu was fabulous and plus you got a free sangria with your restaurant week meal! A great value for $45. Service was amazing and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend this place for date night.
