Bonjour! La Fable Brasserie, located on the beach block of Rehoboth's iconic Baltimore Avenue, offers traditional French cuisine with a bohemian Parisian street cafe flair. Whether you choose to join "Fable" for an early meal or cocktail during Leve-Tot, for an intimate dinner with friends, or to enjoy a drink at the bar, we hope for each guest to create their own dining story.                                     We love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service outstanding. However, there were 2 tables that were quite loud. I wish that customers in a small intimate location could be more aware of the volume of their converesations.

                                    We had a great server. It was for a birthday and they provided a little card with all the staff signing and wishing a happy birthday. The food was excellent. The escargot was a good as we had in Paris. The trout was a 10! Will definitely recommend.

                                    Loved the food although with the fois gras there should be toast points and not a cookie. also, the wines by the glass were not good; we tried the rose, savignon blanc and two reds - each one was 'okay' but they were not up to the standard of the restaurant.

                                    The cheese app is outstanding. The restaurant is authentic French. My wife ordered beef Bourguignon and I had the halibut entree. Both were cooked to perfection. I topped it off with a buche de Noel dessert which was fantastic

                                    Fantastic evening. Had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready but the hostess was attentive. It was Christmas Eve and everyone was in a good mood!

                                    The restaurant is always a tight fit and last night was no exception. However, we were seated quickly and our waitress was a delight from start to finish. The bread was served warm after getting a delish Old Fashioned! I started with a fab cream of crab soup with giant chunks of crab meat. My wife had a crock of onion soup which had an intense veal base- very substantial. Both our dinner portions were much more than could be eaten during one seating. The New York strip with pepper/cognac sauce could have used more pepper and the meat was north of medium- too done. However, the pencil thin fries were delish- wish they stayed crispier longer. My wife had the lamb shank which was tender. We took home the tropical Buche de Noel which we have not yet tried. It was an enjoyable Christmas Eve- the only missing element would have been carolers!!

                                    Everything was exceptional. A very romantic setting. Food was top notch. My wife had lamb shank and I had beef beef burguignon. Dessert was a chambord cake. It was decadent!

                                    It was our anniversary so our evening started with an anniversary card signed by the staff and complimentary champagne!! I had divine cream of crab soup,velvety with lots of crab! My husband’s escargot was perfection and the bread and French butter the perfect accompaniments!My halibut was tasty but a bit overwhelmed by the vegetables. My husband said his duck was the best he’d ever tasted and loved the beets and pomagranet sauce!! The setting was charming and intimate, only the seats could use a cushion! The background music was soft and set a lovely tone! Our server was wonderful! Welcoming, helpful and always thoughtful! What a lovely experience!
