Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

                      We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at La Grande Boucherie. The ambiance of the building and the live music complemented the delicious food perfectly. We particularly enjoyed the mussels in the Dijon sauce and the chocolate mousse dessert. Orlando took fantastic care of us and we can’t wait to come back and see him again! A great all around experience.

                      We had the rib-eye steak special and ny strip and it was cooked to perfection! Our server Christian was amazing and if great help!

                      The service was fantastic but the food was disappointing especially given the cost. I had dinner in the same restaurant in NYC and the food was much better in NYC. Very cool physical space.

                      I had a reservation for 6:45 pm but waited until 7:00 pm to be seated. Despite many empty tables in the restaurant, they attempted to seat us in the very busy bar area in the midst of a crowd of people. They literally had to ask folks to step back so that we could pull out our chairs. We asked to be seated in a quieter area but had to wait almost 30 minutes for a new table. Again, there was a large variety of open seating and this was extremely frustrating.

                      It was me and my husband’s 16th wedding anniversary. It’s also our first time in LGB-DC, everything is outstanding from cocktails,the food, the staff—I am planning to have our thanksgiving dinner this year and where best to celebrate it but in LGB!

                      Half price bottles of wine were really a treat! Was my second trip here first with a large group which I’m not sure I would do again but food quality was great wait staff awesome

                      I was hopeful it would be similar to the NYC restaurant but it just didn’t come close. My steak was medium well not rare but since the server didn’t return for 40 minutes I couldn’t share the feedback. I had to ask a busboy for a bill after an hour of no check in. Just overall disappointing
