La Mar Cocina Peruana, led by acclaimed chef Gastón Acurio, brings authentic Peruvian cuisine to downtown Bellevue, Washington. This cebichería celebrates traditional Peruvian flavors in a casual yet upscale setting. The restaurant features a pisco bar, a cebiche bar with a raw fish display, and an open-air kitchen that overlooks both upper and lower dining areas, including a private room for intimate gatherings. Under Executive Chef Kaoru Chang, La Mar emphasizes fresh seafood sourced directly from the sea, showcasing the essence of Peruvian culinary traditions.

Parking available at Bellevue Plaza. Entrance located on 105th Street. Parking validated for all restaurant guests.

For the busy Bellevue executive looking for a top-quality lunch program, La Mar Bellevue has introduced a two-course Executive Lunch Menu. The first course provides a choice of; Cebiche Clásico, Aji de Gallina Empanada, or Quinoa Salad. The second course provides a selection from; Lomo Saltado, Pescado a lo Macho, or Chaufa Aeropuerto. Add on a sumptuous side from Fried Rice to Crispy Local Potatoes and plenty more to choose from.

The food was really good but a little over priced. The service was so attentive that food came out really fast, they constantly cleared our plates and then they came over with the bill. I was trying to have a relaxing dinner to catch up with my parents and it felt like they were rushing us out the whole time.

Great ambience and place to celebrate a special occasion. But that meant every other table had a loud celebration going on. There are only four vegetarian options on the menu, and we were two people who ordered a dish each. The waiter gave such a startled and judgemental expression that it sort of ruined an otherwise good experience. The service can be better, but overall it was a good night out.

Everything was amazing - kudos to Rena and Gustavo for amazing service. Rena had the best recommendations and she was lovely. Food was outstanding, can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

We had a great experience. The server was excellent and we were given mini tour of the kitchen while being escorted to our seats. The food and drinks were excellent. Our service was very good My only criticism is that the noise level is too high. Even folks at our table who possess excellent hearing expressed concern with the noise level. All in all a wonderful experience but for it being way too loud!

Excellent food, service and ambiance. Went for anniversary dinner and had wonderful drinks, ceviche, lomo saltado, and tres leches. Highly recommend!

Most interesting presentations of seafood from a Peruvian perspective I’ve had in several years. Much more interesting and complex than the Lamar I used to frequent in Santiago Chile. Danielle, the young woman who served us was phenomenal. Professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. Cannot wait to return next month
