La Nouvelle is the next story in our culinary journey by Michael Lugo. This opportunity to bring French Nouveau cuisine to our city has us so excited. Bringing to the helm Matthieu Landillon from the coastal city of Marseille, La Nouvelle allows us to explore classic French Bistro fare with an elevated edge. The atmosphere will lead you to the streets of Paris without leaving St. Augustine.

    Wow! What a dining experience! Paul was knowledgeable and attentive with great recommendations! Lauren, our server, was sweet, kind, and made the evening special. Oh, and the food was prepared and seasoned perfectly! The ratatouille (a side item) should be its own dish. It is out of this world. I have never had anything like it. Cheers to the entire staff at La Nouvelle Bistro for a memorable evening. We will be back!

    Excellent service on the meal items and wine selection. The food was very good. Nice home made you feel like you’re in France! My highest recommendation.

    We had an incredible evening celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary! We started with the Lobster Bisque and everyone raved about it. Our friends had the black sea bass and we had the wagu wet aged New York strip and duck fat potatoes! We wrapped up the evening with the creme brûlée! Everything was out of this world including the customer service. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at La Nouvelle!

    We could not have asked for a better experience, from the complimentary champagne to celebrate our anniversary to the French press coffee and Paris-Brest dessert. Appetizers were the onion soup and escargot, both were outstanding. The Lyonnaise salad with perfect poached egg also outstanding. Entrees were Quiche Lorraine and steak frites, again both spot on. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. A definite 5 star experience.
