Just opened and working out a few kinks, but we had a great meal, served by a very friendly and professional staff in a really attractive atmosphere. It is a little noisy for me with hearing issues.

La Plage is beautifully designed and decorated, service and food excellent. Oysters fresh and crisp, terrific spin on lobster fra diavolo. We'll be back soon!

Wow! What a wonderful addition to the Mystic food scene. Beautiful spot with amazing views of the Mystic River. Food was expensive however you get what you paid for. Perfect portions and mouth watering meals. Will definitely be back. Our server Anna was so nice, had perfect timing and was knowledgeable and friendly .

The entire experience was delightful in a beautiful setting. Service was excellent! Most of the menu was outstanding but the hanger steak needs improvement!

Oyster selection was world class. The dining room was beautiful and well decorated. All tables have view or the beautiful mystic river. All staff were attentive, engaging and energetic. The ingredients in the seafood stew and the fra diavolo were fresh and delicious. This restaurant will crush it in the summer when the patio is open.

We had a wonderful dinner with friends. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather!

Service wasn’t great at all, no one came to check on us once we started eating. Didn’t get cocktails until after our first appetizer came out. Appetizers were good but entrees not only lacked flavor but wasn’t cooked to our preference. Steak was order medium but was still “mooing” on the table being super rare. Pork chops weren’t seasoned properly as well. The only entree that was good was the lobster pasta. Wasn’t able to get anyone’s attention to notify them of these mistakes to either get a re-fire or something different as our server was no where to be found. Wasn’t even asked if we’d like more drinks throughout dinner as well. Hoping things change as the months go on.

According to our waitress, they had been open just 10 days. We don’t usually go to new restaurant straight away because we like them to settle out but I was poking around open table and trying to be the one to make reservations and didn’t realize. Anyway, the food was excellent! The restaurant was beautiful. The service was pretty spot with the exception of the bar but the waitress was great about it. Price was about what you would expect for a nice Mystic restaurant. I really enjoyed my meal even if I couldn’t pronounce the French. lol 5 years of school French didn’t help! Darn it.
