Jutting from a massive rock outcropping above the desert floor the La Quinta Cliffhouse is renowned for its spectacular views across the valley and providing a lively, casual destination to enjoy a menu of American classics with innovative preparations focused on premium steaks and seafood at great prices. The menu highlights vibrant flavors from the valley along with a generous selection of fresh fish and seafood. The wine list has been thoughtfully chosen to complement the food and provide reasonably priced selections including rare and limited bottles.

The Cliffhouse has ambience, if you are in the right location, dining room on the window side or patio, but can also feel closed off and stodgy. The ciopino was over filled with soup, and it was too hard to fight to get the fish out of the broth. Hard to eat but nice. The ceviche was tasty, the firecracker poke was a dud at best, tasty but little flavor, def not firecracker. Everything is fine, the ambience is the hook, and the charm, but if you are not in a great spot, everting just feels overpriced, unimpressive, and a bit stodgy.

Lovely evening dining with family. Unfortunately we weren’t able to dine on the patio as we requested due to high levels of dust, but everything worked out just fine. Service and food were really good and they also have a nice wine selection.

We are seniors so we like to dine early. Cliff House has a great early two course meal for $27.00 has great choices. The food was excellent, staff was attentive, and it is always a beautiful place to dine.

Our server was one of the best servers we have ever encountered. Pleasant knowledgeable. Everyone enjoyed their food and she made it a memorable experience.
