LaSal is an authentic Spanish restaurant serving all of your favourite dishes that our country has to offer.

We are located right in the center of the city (22 Union Place, EH1 3NQ), just a few minutes walk from Edinburgh Waverly station and Princes Street, directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Playhouse. The perfect location to enjoy a meal before or after the theatre.

    We were early for our booking and the team accommodated us . Service was perfect, food was lovely and atmosphere was relaxed . We felt very appreciated as customers.

    Wonderful food, you could tell it was made with love. Pleasing to the eye as well. Had a wonderful authentic Spanish feel to. Service was great, happy and attentive. Just a nice experience, would recommend. Prices were reasonable as well, especially for Edinburgh. Thank you for a wonderful meal, we'll come again, when travelling to Edinburgh.

    Apart from Open Table booking not showing on their system, this was a superb experience. Delicious food, friendly staff and generally reasonably priced. Perfect for pre theatre meal.

    First time in LaSal before attending a show at the Playhouse.....food, service were excellent and great value...we booked here because we couldn't get a table at Guiliano's and this turned out to be a fantastic alternative and we will certainly visit LaSal again as well as recommending to friends and family.

    Very friendly welcome. Choice of food very good. Got good help from the waiter as to what to order and the quantity of plates. We had 4 tapas and a bottle of wine which was plenty for two and was all excellent. Will definitely go back Thank you Lasal

    Excellent. I’m a Coeliac and didn’t realise just how much of the menu was Gluten Free. These are Gluten Free not because they’ve made a special effort to cook differently, but because traditional cuisine has always used these ingredients. Tastes were amazing, the Aubergine dish with a topping of almonds mixed with ground almonds was delicious and unique. Only issue is there was no GF beer choice and as I don’t drink wine or spirits it was an alcohol free night for me, but my liver probably thought that was a good thing. Can’t recommend highly enough.
