La Tavola Restaurant and Bar invites you to experience a culinary journey. We offer american cuisine in a casual yet upscale environment where you will enjoy a variety of flavors and ingredients found locally and around the world. We use only the finest ingredients from organic greens to local farm produce, prime organic meats, fresh wild caught seafood, and the highest quality oils and vinegars.

    Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. The staff was wonderful given the fact that it was Christmas Eve. The food was very good and ambience was more than acceptable.

    Seated on time for reservation. Waiter took our order which included an app, came back 15 minutes later, no app, comes back again, tells us our meal order was lost. Retakes the order, app (which was just bread) finally comes. Meal comes later, 1 entree is incorrect. Waiter comped the meal (which was a kids pasta dish) and offered a mild apology for the issues with the meal, but nothing more. It was a very long dining experience waiting around for food. Food was average at best. Not offensive, but nothing memorable.

    Disappointing experience. The chicken in our chicken parmesan had woody breast making it extremely unpleasant to eat. We sent it back and the manager informed us that a replacement would be the same. Used to provide bread for the table and now charges $2 for a single slice of bread. Ordered a glass of wine that never arrived (but of course they still tried to charge me for it). Was never offered soft drink refills. Have had good meals here in the past but this definitely turned us off from La Tavola.

    My wife and I went on a date night. It was the Monday before Christmas and we had a reservation. Our table was waiting for us. The restaurant is quiet, with a divided up layout. I think this supports the quiet intimate ambience. Overall the food was very good. We started with a tuna appetizer. It was well constructed with ahi tuna seared with sesame seeds over a bed of seaweed. I had the fra diavalo seafood pasta which was amazing. I had the brown sugar old fashioned which was….confusing, perhaps over muddled (pun intended). Genuinely, it wasn’t a good old fashioned so I switched to bourbon neat. The sever was polite but very short in her interactions and we felt hurried. We were seated , had drinks, an appetizer and our main course, and paid the bill in almost exactly one hour. I felt hurried and that affected the experience. We ended with another couple drinks at the bar. There the ambience as more casual. There was single guitar player diving for the group. There were bourbons and Tennessee whiskey not on the menu at the bar.

    This is a wonderful place to eat dinner in the barroom and listen to Motown on a Saturday night. Locally owned and operated with really good food. It’s upscale but reasonable for Marco. Always a fun time!
