La Terrazza is one of the best Italian restaurants in Banff. The Terrace’s panoramic windows and glass ceiling provide some of the most spectacular views in Banff, from Sulphur Mountain to Mount Norquay.

La Terrazza (Italian for Terrace) is proud to offer our new Italian menu. Be sure to taste fresh authentic Italian cuisine with an Albertan twist in the heart of downtown Banff.

    Outstanding service! Our server was engaging and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food was delicious, manageable portions and very unique. Highly recommend.

    This is our second visit to La Terrazza Restaurant. It was very good, just as last time. Ibon Quinoy was our waiter, he was amazing. He is one of the best waiters my wife and I have had anywhere. He was conversational, answered any questions we had about the menu. I had the Italian Short Rib and my wife had the Beet & Parsnip Soup. The food was "soooo good". We first started with the winter salad. We had the winter salad last time at la Terrazza and it was so good, we had to have it again. La Terrazza will always be on our list of restaurants to eat at in Banff.

    It was a great first experience, the food was creative and tasty. Overall I recommend this restaurant for its good food and relaxing atmosphere.

    The atmosphere of LA TERRAZZA was great> The dining area with the live plants and solarium look was perfect. Our waitress Anezka was great and made our experience even better. The food was fabulous. My wife had the Chicken Parmesan, I had Bison Cannelloni, and we started with the Winter Salad. I have to say we tried a few times to get into LA TERRAZZA Restaurant and didn't succeed. Were very glad we didn't give up. Well done LA TERRAZZA!

    Everything was wonderful. The whole staff was very kind and energetic! The only complaint would be that it was very hot in the back corner of the restaurant where we were seated. Thank you for a lovely evening!

    My boyfriend and I are in Banff for a week and was looking for a cozy Italian dinner on the Saturday night. I found La Terrazza and the menu and prices looked good compared to others in the area. We were quickly greeted and attended to our table. Server was really helpful with the menu and suggested a couple options as the menu was transitioning from summer to winter. We ordered a bottle of wine to start and white wine went really well with the warm maple butter bread and olive tapenade. We ordered the lobster risotto and the mushroom pasta rosettes. Both were so delicious and generous portions. Finished the meal with a lava cake and the hat trick coffee. The lava cake is flambéed at the table and was one of the best we have ever had. Overall great experience and food!
