From the stone and stucco walls covered in Italian pictures and art, La Vecchia captures the essence of Italian dining with European flair and culinary excellence.

    La Vecchia is our go to. The food, the ambience and vibe. La Vecchia on Yonge, is more of a cozy rustic Italian vibe, but very quaint. You will never be disappointed at La Vecchia. We usually dine at the Lakeshore location, but we wanted to try the original restaurant on yonge and eglinton. Service was great starting from the time we walked in, sat at the bar, and then went to our table. La Vecchia checks off all the boxes.

    Fantastic quality, ambiance and service, however, the last couple times they allowed us to substitute a tomato cream for the pesto sauce on the shrimp pasta. Our server was very rigid on this, however, I get it as they were very busy.

    Overcrowded, very tight places, the waitress was very irritated, forcing us to order everything and faster because they were supposedly very busy today. there was no sense of coziness and good customer service. Never come again and let all my network about my negative experience.

    We ordered pasta and pizza. Pasta is better than pizza. Richard is really nice. He came to our table at least 5 times to check us. He is humorous and professional. We want to go back again to try another pasta.

    My partner and I were celebrating 9 years together and had such a lovely time. The place has a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the service is attentive and kind. Although pricey, we think it was worth it. We'll definitely go back!
