With only 48 seats, this hidden gem captivates diners with its seasonal Chef’s Tasting Menu, meticulously crafted by the visionary Chef Mitsunobu Nagae. To celebrate the quarter century, the theme of New Year’s Eve 2025 at l’abeille is "looking back 100 years,” where Chef Mitsu has brought together a multi-course menu paying homage to era-defining chefs and dishes since 1925 - interpreted in his elegant French style with Japanese influence. Think Paul Bocuse’s famous fish en croûte made with delicate Japanese “Madai” sea bream, Régis Marcon’s famous cassoulet made with premium lobster and re-arranged for added freshness (optional), and Joël Robuchon’s signature caviar and sea urchin presentation through the lens of Chef Mitsu - who has worked at his restaurants through a decade

    Une expérience agréable mais pas vraiment à la hauteur d’une étoile Michelin. Ce n’était malheureusement pas une expérience unique . Des plats agréables mais surpris sur le choix du dessert (le potiron ne plaît pas à tout le monde ).Mon conjoint n’ayant pas mangé ,le personnel ne s’est pas soucié de savoir pourquoi il n’avait rien mangé. L’ attention envers la clientèle compte aussi … Le service a été expédié… Nous n’avions même pas le temps de déguster notre premier verre que le suivant était déjà servi nous poussant vraiment à se dépêcher… Pour nous une étoile Michelin représente un ensemble ,nourriture et service ,Atmosphère et attention .il suffirait de retravailler quelques points pour rendre l’expérience agréable.

    Just love this place so much. The tasting menu is one surprise after another. Really special. Get a seat at the bar and order up A Night in Kyoto and let a magical evening unfold.

    Outstanding service and presentation Had discovery menu-amuse bouche great Soup with mushrooms little to no taste and was very bland First fish dish very plain and not really tasty at all Tile fish good Final dish aged ribeye excellent Dessert taste of autumn strange and not very good They didn’t even get vesper martini right as well Overall service and atmosphere excellent We plan trips around food frequently but with this price point expected it to be much better …not even close to restaurants like Daniel or Gabriel kruether

    A very lovely restaurant. We did the chefs tasting. For 8 courses we still left pretty hungry. Of all the tasting menus I’ve done the portions were the smallest here. My only feedback is literally make things like 1/4 bigger across the board.

    Lovely tasting menu and exquisite wines. Paid >$1200 dollars for 2 people which is absolutely insane and didn’t realize until the end because of the way the menu was written. Great place but beware of your wallet…

    It was absolutely fabulous! They were so accomodating and prepared a substitute menu for an item I am unable to eat. Staff and service was remarkable. One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while! Thank you so much for making our night special. Special shout out to Oscar for his kindness :).

    As usual L’abeille pulled another incredible colab dinner! This time chef Mitsu reconnect with chef Alain and pulled a beautiful Autumn flavor menu. Special mention as well for the beverage pairing of this evening, with a nice surprise from the bar finishing the last course in a great way.
