Located in the Historic Pearl, Ladino is a modern Mediterranean grill house celebrating all the cultures and cuisines of the Mediterranean region. Ladino features fresh-made pita from a wood-burning oven, an abundance of dips and small plates, and entrees from the 'mangal' - regional specialties cooked on a live-fire, charcoal grill. Desserts are inspired by the sweet and savory staples of the region with a modern touch, and the beverage program highlights the area's wines and spirits.

Ladino was awesome. We did the tasting menu and wine pairing on New Years Eve. Had a wonderful time and great food.

The food was alright. Quite fancy, but not great food. Ambiance was great. Got charged 20% gratuity automatically for a “large party”. We were only three people. The main course of the meal was ridiculously small, especially for the $125 price tag for the meal.

The whole experience was unexpected and wonderful. The cocktails were fresh and delicious and the food was absolutely amazing. Anytime we are in SA, we are making this a stop. Thanks, Jonathan, for serving us so well and being an ambassador for the restaurant. 🤍

Another great experience both ambiance and food. The food is unique and fresh. One of the best restaurants in the San Antonio area. I’m from out of town and will continue dining here. You can’t go wrong with most any course you choose from the menu.

About half of our plates were over salted. This included the fried cheese and the lamb ribs. Salt level for these dishes were about 50% above normal levels. Service was somewhat dry and spotty for an early dinner service of 5pm. Unfortunately, the rhythm and firing of dinner plates arrival was choppy and there were lulls of over 20 min for a 4 person table ordering maybe 6 plates. Overall, there were many pleasing bites (mushrooms, latke, dumplings), but this place could use a deep dive and reworking for the taste profiles of each plate. I would suggest increase in flavor bandwidth (more acid, more umami) and decrease in salt levels across the board.

Our server was great. He knew exactly what we needed! I had my 4.5 month old and he knew we needed our dinner to be somewhat quick. Great food overall and would come back again & again.
