The waiter was friendly, attentive, and quick. His service made our dining experience enjoyable. The food was also good, and the atmosphere was beautiful, making it a place we would have loved to fully enjoy.
However, the biggest issue was the handling of our reservation. We specifically booked an 11 PM reservation weeks in advance because we were spending the day at Disneyland for a birthday and planned to leave the park around 9:30, allowing enough time to arrive without rushing. Unfortunately, at the very last minute--around 9:30 PM--the restaurant called to inform us that the kitchen actually closes at 10:30 and that our reservation had been moved up to 10 PM.
This was incredibly frustrating, as it forced us to rush out of Disneyland, navigate the trams, and hurry to the restaurant just to make it in time. We arrived at 10:15 and were able to order without feeling rushed by our waiter, but the stress of the situation put a damper on what should have been a relaxed and celebratory late dinner. Had we been notified of the kitchen's closing time way in advance (days/weeks), we could have adjusted our plans or chosen another restaurant that could accommodate us properly.
Additionally, we had requested a nice birthday moment, and while the staff initially acknowledged it, they forgot. I didn't mind too much. However, celebrating was the main reason we chose this restaurant, so it was a bit disappointing that it didn't happen as planned.
On the plus side, our waiter waived us on drinks. We had been drinking at Disney all day, so we just stuck to water and sodas.
Overall, the lack of communication about kitchen hours made the experience more stressful than it should have been. I'd still recommend this place, but if you're booking a late-night reservation, definitely confirm their closing times in advance.
Also, the menus states that a gratuity will be added to the bill for parties of 7+. We were a party of 6 and we were still charged an automatic gratuity.
