Our menu is inspired by our own family gatherings, sharing food, wine, company, the beauty of our landscape and the bounty of our Estate Grown produce. Dine outdoors on the deck overlooking Lake Moodemere, or indoors in the heritage listed homestead - air conditioned in Summer with wood fires in Winter.

We grow our own lamb, wheat, honey, citrus, seasonal vegetables & herbs. All our Estate produce is sustainably produced with minimal intervention and zero food miles in a reflection of the place it was grown and the people who made it.

Our chefs have a passion for sustainability and creativity. In addition to our estate produce, we source the best of the season's harvest, with a view to minimising food miles, to enhance a vibrant, ever changing menu.

    Take a seat at the Vigneron's table in the private tasting room. Uncover the history and stories behind Lake Moodemere Estate with a guided tasting by one of the principals of our wine producing team. Be guided through a special selection of sustainably produced, single vineyard wines. This is a cellar door selection from our portfolio - wines may differ to those available for general release and will change on a regular basis.     We had a delightful Sunday lunch in the cool at Lake Moodemere Winery. The food yummy as usual and wine delightful. 3 generations all loved it.

    This was our second visit to Lake Moodemere Estate. We arrived early and enjoyed some wine tasting before eating. The wines we tasted were all good, but I thought the Durif was outstanding. Two members of our party had fish of the day, which was Barramundi. I had 8 hour slow cooked lamb. Evidently the Barra was delicious. The lamb was predictably fall apart, but I thought there was too much of it. It came with three round pancake like pieces of bread (?) and I was not sure what do do with them -- perhaps an explanation might have helped. I had Muscat perfloget (spelling is wrong, I know) which consisted of a scoop of vanilla ice cream, hot black coffee and a glass of muscat. I asked, and was told they were all mixed together, then drunk. It was OK, but I wished I had ordered the two scoops of ice cream. The service was timely without undue waiting, but we had to wait a long time to settle our bill. The ambience is outstanding -- a beautiful venue beside Lake Moodemere. We were under a huge conifer with blue wrens flitting about and cockatoos screeching overhead. The winemaker, Michael Chambers, was wandering about, engaging all the diners in conversation. This was a much appreciated touch. Even though we were not in the under cover section, the noise was still appreciable, and there was a lot of 'could you repeat that'. Overall I would highly recommend Moodemere Estate Winery and restaurant. Choose carefully, and don't be afraid to ask how to approach your plate if you find what is on it confusing.

    Food , service and the Riesling Chardonnay were excellent. Highly recommended. Such a great little spot for lunch. Its one of the nicest meals we have had in a long time.

    Fantastic venue. We were greeted by Zeus the border collie who was charming. We had lunch outside overlooking the lake on a perfect Sunday afternoon. The service was excellent and we loved the wines; they were all well balanced and had a point of difference. Highly recommended.

    Michael and Belinda Chambers were the most wonderful hosts. We enjoyed their down to earth honesty, friendliness and professionalism, so refreshing in an industry known for its hype. Their wines are wonderful (of course we joined their club and received a 30% discount!) particularly their reds though their sparkling chardonnay went down a treat at our table. The meal was delicious in every respect and we really appreciated their attention to detail in serving our young grandson with alacrity whilst leaving we adults to inspect the menu at our leisure and enjoy the wine. The old homestead was magnificent and the view over Lake Moodemere during the spectacular afternoon thunderstorm was a dramatic conclusion to a memorable day. Should you go? Yes! My wife and I will certainly return as I am missing that luscious slow cooked lamb and the spicy Shiraz & Cinsaut already.
