We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. The service was very good. Everyone was friendly. My only complaint is that the height of the tables is too short. I am 6'3" tall and had difficulty sitting comfortably and fitting my legs under the table.

It’s easy to do a review for the Landmark. The food and service are invariably superb. We make the six hour drive about twice a year and have never been let down. We both tried new recipes last night. Of particular note last night was the Garlic Shrimp Pasta. As a life-long shrimp lover I thought I had seen everything that could be done to shrimp but this was the best I ever had.

Best breakfast in my 44 years of life! My husband and I were planning our anniversary vacation in Bayfield and after reading reviews about this restaurant I knew we had to make an online reservation - even though it was months in advance. I am so glad we did. Our expectations were greatly exceeded - the food was mouth watering and our waitress was a pure delight! This is an absolute must if you are going to be in the area!

The seafood chowder was excellent and was the best part of our meal, but my whitefish rouladen was very bland and just did not have much flavor. I have to say I was very disappointed in my entree. My husband's porkchop seemed overcooked and somewhat dry. The flavor was pretty good but the dryness of the meat was disappointing. We also had the turtle sundae for dessert. The sauces were very good but the ice cream was not at all creamy. In fact it seemed to have ice pieces in it. It was almost as if they scooped the ice cream into the dish ahead of time and it melted a bit and then they put it in a freezer to grab and top with the sauces and the refrozen ice cream had an unpleasant texture. We had this restaurant recommended to us by a local and went with high expectations which the restaurant didn't meet. In addition, I had to ask to have my water refilled twice. I expected a restaurant of this caliber to have servers who are more attentive to these things.
