Private Dining Experience The private dining room is located off of our main dining room. There are velvet curtains as option for privacy. Booking Times: We offer two seating times, 5:00pm or 8:00pm. Menu Style: This private dining experience features a 12 course family style menu that showcases our house favourites. We are happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions. Sunday - Tuesday $65/person (minimum 10 people) Wednesday - Saturday $75/person (minimum 10 people) The above price does not include tax, gratuity, or beverages. Payment: Can be processed on one bill or split equally. Cancellation Fee: Please note that a $10/person cancellation fee will be applied if the reservation is canceled within 48 hours.

Music was very loud at 6:30-8:00. Bar was not busy but dining area was full. Noise level was not adjusted to allow for dining conversation

I recently visited Lao Lao Bar & Restaurant in Toronto with my team, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and vibrant—a perfect setting for a team outing or any special occasion. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every single dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, creativity, and freshness. I genuinely can't recall a single item that didn’t deserve at least a 4.5/5. From appetizers to mains, everything was meticulously prepared and beautifully presented. It’s clear that the chefs at Lao Lao take great pride in their craft. The service was also exceptional. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us make choices that suited everyone at the table. If you’re looking for a spot in Toronto that delivers on food, atmosphere, and overall experience, Lao Lao Bar & Restaurant is the place to go. Highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back!

Tapioca dumplings - must have! Beef curry is also delicious. Noise level too high!! We all had to shout at each other. Ask for a table at the back, which is quieter.

The food was excellent and our server did a great job of explaining the menu and making suggestions. The food arrived promptly and service was excellent. The ambiance was unique and the vibe was relaxed and friendly. A great time was had by all and I’d highly recommend visiting. My standouts were the apps - the tapioca dumplings, pork skewers and the green papaya fritters. For the main I’d recommend the mince meat salad or bbq chicken. The mango sticky rice and fried banana with pandan sauce was a great way to end a delicious meal!

We were asked when making the reservation if we were celebrating a special occasion. We were celebrating our Anniversary. Apparently that means you get the worst table in the restaurant, near the bussing station. No mention of our Anniversary was made at all.
