Great place for a New Year's Celebration with Family! Great time, super food and excellent service. Our server Grayson did a top notch job. Fanny, came by multiple times to check on us. I'd met her at a Yelp Event and let her know that I enjoyed it so much, I brought my family back to celebrate the new year. :) For appetizers, we shared spring rolls, wontons with chili, Xiao long bao(soup dumplings), crabmeat and Fish belly soup, (shared), hot and sour soup, wonton soup. For dinner, we shared vegetable fried rice, Szechuan green beans, shredded duck lettuce wraps, sliced beef tenderloin in golden soup, sautéed chicken with garlic sauce, chefs special dry chicken, shishito pepper prime rib beef with peppercorns and a Szechuan style peppercorn bass. (Note very large, full fish in skin). Collectively, everyone loved the meal and experience! The dry chili chicken was crispy and great heat! Some said the bass was the best, a few said the sliced beef tenderloin soup was the best. We will definitely be back and highly recommend coming with a group!! Look forward to coming back for future celebrations, or just a great meal !

Last night the service was very poor. Had a 730 reservation but took 20 minutes to seat us. The waiter took our order and then we only saw him 3 times. And he did not ask if we wanted a 2nd round of drinks. Our food came out randomly and our last dish of fried rice came out 30 minutes after everything else . We were finished eating when it came out. Then the waiter came over and asked if we wanted take home containers and provided the bill. No did we want anything else just here is the bill.

Dear Neill, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the wait you experienced on New Year's Eve. It's one of our busiest nights of the year, and unfortunately, we did overbook a bit, which led to longer seating times for some guests. Regarding the food, our kitchen operates with different departments (appetizers, duck, rice and noodles, etc.), and each team handles varying order volumes. On a busy night like that, it can be challenging to coordinate timing perfectly. Waiters were overwhelmed too. My wife and I went out to Lao Sze Chuan for the first time. It was her birthday. I had read the reviews and everything looked very positive. When we arrived, we were promptly seated. Gabriel was our server. He did an amazing job the entire night for us taking the time to explain the different drinks and dishes. Drinks and food were impeccable. This was a great experience for my wife and I. We will definitely be back soon. I would recommend all to experience the same at Lao Sze Chuan.

Food and service were amazing. We had the duck lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, walnut shrimp, pork fried rice, pork soup dumplings, spring rolls, wonton soup, and hot n sour soup. Everyone was pleased in our party.

We had a family Christmas Eve celebration in a private room which was perfect for the occasion which included three younger grandsons. The room was perfect and as a bonus included karaoke which we surprisingly used! Such fun! Food was wonderful. We sampled lots of dishes including Peking duck all very good. Josh did a great job with service. Overall a really perfect experience and a reasonable value as well. We will be back in the future!
