Lapeer is a chef inspired Steak and Seafood concept with a boutique coastal vibe setting located in the heart of the Historic downtown Alpharetta.

The menu will include premium cuts of beef including prime, certified Angus, America Wagyu and reserved dry aged steaks. Our seasonal approach will have a mixture of classic, yet innovative creations as well as some steakhouse staples. We source our fresh seafood and day boat fish from the gulf and east coast and offer a regular rotating selection of fresh oysters.

A well balanced by the glass list with a focus on new world varietals. An extensive reserve list driven by full bodied California cabs and red blends, backed with a solid mix of old world Italian and French varietals.

The ambiance was very nice, the service was great and the food was delicious. Our table of 4 started with yummy cocktails and had shrimp cocktail, French onion soup and calamari for starters. For our dinner we had (2)filet mignon, Scottish salmon, airline chicken, frites and potato gratin. Everything was very tasty!

Good cocktails and bar experience. Some appetizers are great, but their entrees seem generic and don’t have a good value for the money. Inconsistent quality over the last few trips. When they are busy, the time to service is substantial.

We love Lapeer however, I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday for the espresso martini and whole branzino specifically and for the second time we’ve visited they were out of both and we do not live close. I just feel that on a busy day like Saturdays, there should be enough. Other than that, service was amazing. Our server accommodate us the best way he could! However, we were offered a birthday dessert, as if it was complimentary and ended up having to pay for it. Which is no issue, but had we known we wouldn’t have indulged only because we had chocolate cake at home for us! So we paid for the experience of my girlfriend blowing out the candle. Anywho! We probably won’t be back after this weekend, just too many hiccups!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do apologize about being out of our Espresso martini when you have come. We do our best to continue to keep it on hand but unfortunately due to it being frozen in a machine, once the machine is out, it is not replaceable while it is running and it is our most popular cocktail! We are truly sorry for the overlook with the birthday cake it is absolutely complimentary and it is never our intention to miss those important details. We do hope you give us anther chance to make it right. We appreciate your patronage and support.

Our first time visit for a special occasion. We had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious - best calamari we ever had. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive. The steak was perfect. We finished off the meal with the decadent chocolate cake, which is meant to share. We will definitely visit Lapeer again.

This was a busy night as it was Valentine’s Day so there was a bit of a wait to get seated, even with reservations. That said, our dining experience was very nice, food was excellent as always, but our server (Nicole) deserves special recognition as she was amazing and made our night. She was very attentive and professional and kind, always smiling on what I’m sure was a stressful night for the staff. When we come next, I will absolutely ask to be seated in her area. A real superstar. I hope the ownership and management realize how strong she is. We will be back again soon!

I made the ressy for Valentines Day back in early January and I am glad I did as it was packed. There were people still coming in at 930 when we left. We were seated at a cozy table. The waiter was very attentive and on the ball. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was nice and crispy. My wife had the airline chicken which she loved. Moist, tender and the veggies accompanying it were delicious. She said it was the best restaurant chicken she ever had. I had the lobster and shrimp pasta over their homemade spaghetti which did not skimp on shell fish. A very good value for both dishes. We finished the meal with a rum cake desert which was not overly sweet; just the way it should be. We were looking forward to the branzino but with it being a special Valentines menu we will have to come back to that. We left very satisfied!
