Overall bad experience and not good food at all. Open Table asks if a special occasion and if you want to put notes and I put that it was special and the I wanted a nice table for 2. When I arrived they walked us right over to the cafeteria table where multiple couples share the same bench seating. Basically, you are sharing a table with others and you are so close you can shake their hands and hear every word they say. Not a nice table for a special night. When I asked for a more private table (or one you do not have to share at least) was told I could sit outside with the heat lamps which I said no and was going to leave (should have), but then a manager came over and gave us our own table.. but right in front of the kitchen and where all the servers pick up their food and orders, so you can imagine it was not peaceful and it was loud with shouting and crowded with employees jockeying for position a couple feet from your table. regarding the food, it was just weird and poor quality. Calamari was clearly frozen in a bag kind and the ribeye was 50% fat or more (little meat).Yes there is fat on a ribeye, but this was ridiculous. Longhorns has better cuts. The kicker was the side of mushrooms. in 99.9% of steakhouses a side of mushrooms is just that mushrooms, whole or caps, with some butter and/or herbs.. But here it is was some strange bowl of shredded stuff (looked a lot like low mein ) that had celery, carrots, peppers, onions and very few shredded mushroom pieces. Very odd, waitress said they just changed what it was but didn't update the menu which just said side of mushrooms. Waitress was very nice, but food was not tasty or good quality. My wife did not even eat her main course after 1 bite. Greenville has become so crowded with so many new people that it will probably remain open and crowded, but I would save your money and skip this place. Better food in the food court outside this plaza (had to buy the wife food after we left here and she said so).
Larkin's已在3天前回覆Randy,
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback from your experience with us. I regret to hear that you did not enjoy the table you were sitting at and that you did not enjoy the food. I do want to assure you that we use local and top quality products. Our mushrooms are from a local farm, Dark Spore, in South Carolina. When we cook the mushrooms, they do wilt down slightly. All of our steaks are top quality, 100% black angus from a farm called Meats by Liz. Our burgers are grass-fed from a farm called Brasstown Beef in North Carolina. It is very important to us as a company to serve top quality foods that we are proud of. Your patronage is important to us and we hope that you will visit again. I will ensure you have a great experience!
