Las Montañas, located in the heart of downtown Aspen, serves Mexican food highlighting Tex-Mex classics, including tabletop sizzling fajitas, house-made tortillas, ceviches, grilled steaks, and seafood—cocktails, agave spirits, and our extensive wine list round out the Las Montañas experience.

The second-floor restaurant, with views of the surrounding mountains, is open seven days a week for lunch, happy hour, and dinner.

    The food was very good and it was some of the best and family friendly of the trop. We had 3 types of fajitas and a beef taco for a kid in addition to the queso dip. All delicious.

    From the friendly hostesses and fast and friendly service the minute we sat down, our experience was excellent. Our waiter Anon was awesome, knowledgeable and so friendly! The food was excellent. We got the fajitas and the steak and chicken were both perfect! Definitely coming back:)

    JT did not steer us wrong! We were so full after our delicious ckn fajitas but when we were told that the tres leches was “life changing…”, we had to try it. Needless to say, we would have drank the remaining milk out of the plate had we not been in public! Thank you JT for a great evening and wonderful dinner!!! Already made reservations to return for a different variety of fajitas!
