Created by the founders of El Tiempo Cantina, Houston’s First Family of Tex Mex, Laurenzo’s Restaurant features the other side of their family’s Italian, Mexican and American Culinary Heritage. The menu, one of the largest in the city, is packed with recipes dating back generations, and includes fresh Gulf Seafood, Prime Rib, and home-made pasta. If you’re in the mood for good ‘old home-style cooking’ made from scratch daily with the freshest of ingredients, then Laurenzo’s is your place. The family has been cooking with love in Houston for over three generations, just the way their matriarch Mama Ninfa Laurenzo taught them.

    Fantastic service, water glass never got empty, table was prepared for our celebration, food was really good especially the brownie with ice cream….very nice restaurant

    The maitre d' is exceptional and knowledgeable. Service is excellent. The menus has a lot of variety. A wonderful place to dine.

    Food excellent as always - tried a few new things. They seemed to be short staffed, but waiter did a good job. Enjoyed the birthday dessert!

    As a family we visit there for special occasions and let me tell you they make you feel special!! From the moment we walked in there was a smile from the Host who was just a lovely man.     Everything was fabulous. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a very friendly host. Since it was my birthday, he brought a little happy birthday stand to the table. Service was great and the food was amazing as usual. It’s hard to order anything different on the menu because I absolutely love your French dip, creamy corn and grits. After lunch, I was brought a birthday dessert with a candle. As we were leaving the restaurant, every staff member thanked us and said goodbye. This is a restaurant that really knows how to let customers know how much they appreciated!
