We are a mediterranean inspired grill in the heart of Stevenage Old Town, serving the very best steaks, grills and fresh fish alongside some amazing cocktails.
Our steaks are our signature dish, these are very carefully sourced and cooked by our master grill chefs on the word renowned Josper grill.

Our restaurant is rated no 1 on trip advisor.

We have live music every Friday.

    Every Friday lavish bar and grill hosts a live band providing entertainment from around 7pm onwards. We have a different vocalist every week and their styles vary but generally the music is up beat and consists mainly of popular covers. Please note the atmosphere on Fridays is lively and louder than other evenings. If you would like any further information or to request a table upstairs please call us directly on 01438222215.

    We’ve been coming here New Years Eve for the past 4 years and the food has always been lovely. Tonight, my partner’s steak was more fat than steak, he could hardly cut it. For £32 it wasn’t worth it. Very disappointed, won’t be back next year

    This has always been one of my favourite restaurants unfortunately the food was a little disappointing this visit. The service was excellent as always.

    A well-appointed restaurant with a pleasing atmosphere. The service was good. The front of house staff were quite attentive. Whilst we were there, we debated if the menu was good value for money. We agreed that it depended on the choice made, and some menu items were not typically the best value. The starters arrived promptly. However, our mains did take a while to arrive and initially went to the wrong table. This was quickly remedied by staff, and the meal was well presented. Everything was delicious. Overall, it was a nice experience

    problems from the on set, the host was so rude she wasn't even at the door then proceeded to try and blame me for why she didn't hear me come in she asked where i wanted too sit i walked towards it and she starts grumbling because i wanted to sit in the corner a table set for four even though the restaurant was basically empty. I say pardon she goes oh nothing i said great. im now uncomfortable and want too leave ten mins later she asks if im ready i said yes she then tells her colleague too do it and they shake their head they are all standing at the bar and all look at me and then one comes over laughing from the conversation they had just had the prosecco came it was clearly old, the food came there was so mention of cajun chips in the word triple cooked chips so that was an unpleasant shock the steak was medium like i asked through some parts of the steak others it was more rare so i didn't really eat it she asked if everything was okay i just said yes even though she could clearly tell it wasn't i paid the fifty quid for mediocre steak and terrible prosecco and drank what i could of it and left will definitely not be going back.

    Food was absolutely delicious and as it was my partner's birthday, they bought him an extra dessert which I thought was a really nice touch. Was really reasonably priced as we had 3 courses and cocktails . Would highly recommend it.

    This was the best meal I’ve been out for in a long time. There were 5 of us and we all felt the food was amazing and the service was too. The staff were really friendly and even spoke to the first one of our party there so she didn’t feel alone. The food is a good price and the dishes are a good size. We loved it. Thank you

    Oz was amazing host , and tended for all our needs from begining to end , we were a party of 12 , and the service was faultless and the food was amazing , everyone agreed . Highly recommend Lavish for any celebration .Or night out .
