We loved the experience at Lavo! We celebrated both Christmas and a birthday dinner with friends and staff were so lovely and food was amazing! Definitely worth the price.

We have been to this restaurant multiple times and we have always loved it, but today was an awful experience. The waiter was beyond obnoxious, and inattentive, and the management was clueless. My date literally held tears in her eyes because of the disrespectful behavior of our waiter. The food was good as always but we will never return after such a exhausting and unpleasant experience as today. They can and they should do better.

Disappointing experience. We were sat for our table 30 minutes late. Service was spotty and hard to get a hold of. Food was served cold and was not worth the price points. Fun ambiance but everything else was sub par

Was excited to try it but disappointed at the end The starters was good especially the pizza, waited for second course for over 30 minutes, pasta is really bad and salty none of use ate it , chicken parmigiana was not really good neither .

The place looked amazing. We showed up on time, but the brunch we reserved for £xx amount PP was not available, and the availability of food was limited. We could only do a higher price brunch with drinks, or wait 1 hour for ordering. We felt disappointed and somewhat miss sold the expected experience, so we gave it a miss and went to a nearby restaurant where they accommodated our custom and had a great time. Probably spent more that we would on LAVO, but the service and experience was spotless. Maybe one day we’ll go back, but would definitely recommend to call the restaurant, to make sure of the experience you expect to be correct.

I had a good experience overall! The food was delicious, the ambiance was wonderful, and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, I was a bit disappointed that my special request to do something extra for my friend’s birthday wasn’t acknowledged, even though I mentioned it while booking. Aside from that, it was a lovely outing, and I’d still recommend this place for a nice meal.

Service was woeful. We sat down at 1.40 but slow to take our order, over an hour. Food very good.

The tea wasn’t fresh and the pancakes were an instagrammers dream but actually didn’t taste that great, quite grainy and floury. Felt like they were going for style over substance.
