Welcome to the Crossroads, where Kansas City comes together. An evening at Lazia begins at the hearth with a complimentary house amaro blend as the sound of hip hop's greatest legends fill the room. The menu is both familiar and surprising in its selection of Italian favorites. It offers a collection of Cicchetti and Antipasti to start your meal; an expertly prepared and seasonal selection of handmade, fresh pastas; a satisfying collection of Secondi; and few moments of surprise & delight!

Named for another Crossroads O.G. and pal of Pendergast, Johnny Lazia, our dinner-only restaurant sits at the Crossroads of Italian culinary inspiration and the farms and fields of the Heartland in the Midwest.

We are currently open 7 days a week from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Valet Parking for Lazia guests is $9, but street parking is also available.

Lazia is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

    They say you eat with your eyes first. Lazia, our Italian restaurant in the Arts District, together with Heidmann Art Salon, introduces Appetite for Art: A night for those who crave creativity. This evening, art will be on your plate, in the gallery, and around the table. An experience to remember. Start with a sip of amaro as you wander Lazia’s hidden gallery, where the Heidmann’s thematic collection invites you to venture into a new perspective. Then, wander the candle-lit dining room for a progressive, roaming menu that echoes the night’s theme - bold, intentional, and just a little adventurous. After grabbing a few bites and bevs, slip into a seat for cocktails and conversation with friends. With a setting this active, art sneaks into every corner of the evening. For the first edition, theme L’AVVENTURA sets the scene - an exploration of risk, discovery, and the beauty of the spontaneous. Expect the unexpected! WHAT IS INCLUDED: ✔ Exclusive entry to Appetite for Art, Lazia’s private art event, alongside the Heidmann Art Salon’s gallery, L’AVVENTURA. ✔ An all-inclusive, chef-curated stationed menu featuring highlights like Chef’s Raw Bar alongside a paired wine sampling menu and a welcome sip of amaro ✔ An evening of art, flavor, and conversation in an intimate, one-night-only setting.

                                                    Our server, Debbie, was wonderful. The wine, salad, and dessert was very good. We ordered the lasagna for our entre and it was burned to a charcoal level all around and had sauce on the plate, but not the noodles. It was certainly not what we expected. We were surprised that the kitchen would have served it. It was Valentine’s Day and they were very busy, so we did not complain about the quality of the lasagna to our server, but ate around the center of the burned noodles. We were going to a concert and needed to get finished and on our way. Not sure if we would eat there again.

                                                    This was our first time at Lazia. Everything was perfection. Our server, Cheyanne, was fantastic. She was attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered focaccia bread and the wedge first. Both items - the best we’ve ever tasted. For our entree, we ordered the ribeye and potatoes. Also delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant was busy (Valentines Day) but the service was super prompt and the food was hot. We had the raspberry chocolate dessert and the lemon dessert. Both fabulous. We WILL be back. Thank you, Cheyanne and Lazia, for a truly wonderful experience!

                                                    From beginning to end what a WONDERFUL experience. It was our first time dining with Lazia and we will be back. The food was great and the service was even better. Our server Davy was very attentive and made sure we had the full experience they have to offer. Highly recommended!!!

                                                    I would highly recommend this place. The energy and vibes in there were very energetic. A good crowd of people without feeling overly crowded. The food is definitely worth the price. The portions are just enough to share but packed with flavor. The servers were all very welcoming and polite. My glass was always full, and there was little to no wait time.
