Lazy Bear is a unique fine dining experience that begins with snacks and cocktail hour in the mezzanine, then moves downstairs for a refined dinner party at communal tables.

We think the best dining experiences are the ones in which we’re seated around a table sharing food and stories with others. Lazy Bear serves modern American food with flavors that are intrinsically delicious and familiar, in a format that calls to mind those great American shared eating experiences that we love.

You are coming to have fun! We recommend that you don't drive. Street parking nearby is very difficult. The closest parking lots are the El Capitan lot at 2361 Mission St between 19th and 20th, and the garage at 3255 21st St. between Valencia and Bartlett.

Lazy Bear is experiential and social, a bit entertaining, maybe even a bit educational. We want to create a connection between our diners and the people making their food. It's the contemporary dinner party. Our chefs present each course, and talk about its inspiration and preparation.
