From Endangered Dishes to London’s Edible Map, OpenTable champions the capital’s culinary diversity. This August, OpenTable and Carousel are teaming up to introduce LDN 195, a three-day bookable pop-up. With 195 countries and a range of different cuisines in the world, research shows that despite London’s vibrant diversity, there are still some cuisines diners are less familiar with. More than 55% of diners recently revealed they would like to see some of the lesser represented cuisines receive greater recognition in the capital. The top six underrepresented cuisines as highlighted by diners are Romanian, Goan, Slovenian, Polynesian, Armenian and Ukrainian. The LDN 195 sharing style menu will include six dishes, from Goan Curry and Armenian Flatbreads to Ukrainian Barbecued Khorovats and Pistachio and Walnut Baklava, a welcome cocktail and half a bottle of wine per person. Please note any dietary requirements in the ‘special comments’ section when booking. Payment by card only.

            Well here is the thing....I made this booking and showed up on the night but Carousel had no booking as this event isn't even running currently. They were incredibly gracious as always and made room for us in the dining room and we had wonderful book and a lovely evening. But they were perplexed as to how this booking was even on offer...so, by all means, go to Carousel, check out what they have on offer on their website and book through them......but don't book this as it does not exist.
