The atmosphere is dreamy for an intimate dinner for two but there is even a separate area for groups. We dined riverside and enjoyed the gently gurgling water under the wonderful piped in music. We will definitely be back for a live music evening. Attention to detail is second to none. Class is evident from the greeters all the way to the server’s helpers. The food was exquisite but I must say something about the quantity vs. quality. I’d much rather have a satisfying portion of something exquisite than a plate load of something I can’t finish. You are not buying in bulk here. It’s not Walmart size or Walmart priced. That said, you can have an appetizer after the amuse-Bouche, a slice of bread with butter aux fines herbes, a main dish, and still have room for dessert! I had the baby kale salad, the lamb, profiteroles, and an espresso and I walked away satisfied after an enjoyable meal that meandered for two hours. We were not rushed but every detail was catered to our liking. Among the best in town but don’t expect fast and cheap.

We were a little earlier than the time of our reservations, but we sat there for 20 minutes before we even received water. The jazz band was so loud it was hard to carry conversation. Food was very good, but the place is overpriced and we will not eat there again.

We are so thrilled that Le Bistro is back, and more beautiful than ever! We had been saving our anniversary for this special occasion dinner. We are grateful for the Perez family for bringing this jewel back. Overall, the food was fine….but nothing really “Wow”. Our mussels were a bit off….all of us said that, but edible. Our waiter took them off our bill. Portions were fine, in fact after having appetizers, both couples split their entrees. My biggest disappointment was the wine list. You have no wines under $1900 pesos on the list. There are so many wonderful wines available in Mexico, from $400 pesos up to $2000 pesos. I may be wrong on this, but I think you will have others feeling the same as me. We are all foodies, dining at all the great restaurants in Puerto Vallarta, and have not experienced such a high priced list. Even at La Palapa, a wonderful white wine is available for 900 pesos. Do you offer a corkage fee? If so we will bring some of our favorites from our cava. We are looking forward to breakfast and lunch service when that starts. And also looking forward to an evening when the jazz group plays. I should mention that the Cosmopolitan cocktail I had at the beginning was about the best I’ve ever had. I know you will keep the quality. That’s just what your restaurants are. Just temper the wine list please!

Absolutely fabulous French restaurant in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. The interior is stunning. It is quite large and has both inside and outside dining options all of which are truly elegant. The food was spectacular and the service was impeccable. They also have live jazz occasionally. This is not to be missed in PVR.

Fantastic discovery. They just opened two weeks ago and were very impressive. Fantastic ambience, excellent service and delicious dinner. So good, given our limited time in Puerto Vallarta, we will be going back again tonight. 😀

This has just been reopened by an experienced restaurant family. It has been spectacularly decorated and feels definitely like a special occasion place. The service was excellent as was all the different dishes our group tried. I had the scallops and risotto- yum! I think the only negative is that the lowest priced wine by the bottle was $100 USD. Wish there were a few more reasonably priced options. All in all a wonderful meal and experience!

Only a week since this favorite opened again, under new management. The first thing that strikes you is just the beauty of the place and its location on the river. The next thing is the staff everyone is engaged and frienly from the hostesses to the bartender to thevwait staff. Service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. Themenu had enough breadth that everyone should find something interesting. Good wine list though some of the better wines could have their prices reduced. Our group's mains incuded roast chicken, red snapper and duck. All were tasty! The deserts were a big hit. Lovely place! (Music Thursday thru Sunday) . We'll go back.

The only reason I gave the service a four is there was only one waiter when they clearly needed at least two for the number of tables that were occupied. The restaurant is new and they need to work out timing. After being seated we waited a long time for menus and finally had to ask for them. Bread arrived long after appetizer. Amuse bouche arrived after appetizer as well. Food, decor and ambience were outstanding esp the live music. We’ll be back.

Happy to discover this newly reopened gem along the River in PV. Music, service, and food all outstanding. Feels like Paris at the beach. Can’t wait for our next visit!
