Le Colonial is a celebration of the seductive spirit and vivid flavors of 1920’s French Colonial Southeast Asia, located in the heart of Atlanta, one of America’s fastest growing and most diverse cities. Designed to capture a bygone era of sophistication and opulence. A lavish dining room boasts of period photography, overhead fans, leather banquettes, and is flanked by a veranda with Parisian-Style sidewalk café seating.

To enhance the experience of your visit we ask that you respect our dress code.

Dress Code : Business Casual
No athletic wear or athletic attire, including designer, athletic line of any kind/brand, beach flip flops or any beach attire, tank tops (men), cut-offs, sweatpants, exposed undergarments and excessively revealing clothing for indoor and outdoor dining. No baseball caps/hats. Seasonal changes may apply.

The Lotus Room is an intimate private dining room that is located near the entrance to the main dining room and visible through wrought-iron French doors. With seating for up to 14 guests, the room pays homage to the official flower of Vietnam and is anchored by a Jonas Wickman mural rendered in gentle tropical tones. Exclusive tasting menus with wine pairings prepared by Culinary Director Nicole Routhier and Executive Chef Hassan Obaye are available by request. Transport your guests to another time and place for your next corporate or social gathering. The lounge area provides an intimate setting with black and white photos of 1920's Saigon, potted palms, Oriental rugs and ambient music setting the stage for your experience - perfect for a reception style event or a seated dinner for up to 125 guests. Enjoy plated canapes, a buffet station and cocktails. Take advantage of the weather on our veranda, extending the lounge area via French doors to an al fresco environment.

For appetizers, the tuna tartare, beef ravioli & beet salad were outstanding. I enjoyed the shaken beef & garlic noodles. My family had the duck & chicken, they loved it. Great ambience although a bit pricey. They validate parking.

The check in ladies were friendly, gracious and very accommodating. My husband and I went to the lovely bar area to have drinks while we waited for our dinner table to be prepared. I liked the ambience and lighting in the bar area and the choice of appetizers was perfect. We selected the pot stickers and ribs with our drinks. The noise level was conducive to conversation. Later we were escorted to a lovely corner table and enjoyed our servers honest recommendations and descriptions on various entrees. The food was fresh but nothing special. We had the spicy chicken bowl and shaking beef. The noise level in the dining area was quite loud to the point of head turning. We decided the best of Le Colonial is the bar. Great for meeting friends for drinks and appetizers.

Food, ambience etc is excellent. However, they tend to rush you out once the check is presented or if you're sitting for more than 1.5 hours.
