Food was good, shaking beef and beet salad were the top 2 of the 6 things we ordered, fried rice, ribs and beef ravioli (was not a fan of the noodles), halibut overcooked, dry. Food came out very slow from the kitchen. Sat at the bar and it was freezing in there, fans on in the winter. Managers were not engaging with guests, well not us anyways. Ambiance & decor is gorgeous.

The surface was excellent, but I gave it a three because I asked my server to please slow down the coursing of the food. No sooner had we finished our small plates then the entrées were placed on the table, all of them at one time. It was too much too quick. Therefore, it was hard to know the quality of the food because there were too many flavors competing at the same time. When we return, we will order one dish at a time so that we can truly savour the flavors, that truly are unique. Another thing that would change my rating to a five would be reducing of the sound level that is piped into the restaurant. It is much too loud. Looking forward to returning. This was a great choice. Early evening service. Attentive staff. Beautiful presentation and service. Staff very accommodating. They are doing an excellent job at this restaurant. I would highly recommend it for those looking for something other than run of the mill.

Loved everything about Le Colonial. The food is so delicious-top notch. The service was amazing - our waiter Mai went above and beyond! And the atmosphere you just can’t beat. It’s a Denver gem. We’ll definitely be returning. Such a special place!
