Le Colonial is a celebration of seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s. With locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Delray Beach, Houston, and Naples, the famed Vietnamese restaurant is designed to capture a bygone era of sophistication and opulence. Celebrated restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Joe King deliver exquisite attention to detail in the luxurious, classic, and romantic atmosphere of Lake Forest’s lively Market Square District. For special occasions, our private dining space provides a bespoke setting for unforgettable celebrations. Please be advised that we do not hold an indoor reservation for all patio reservations. We cannot guarantee a table inside if you wish to move.

I feel like once we didn’t order alcoholic beverages (it was lunchtime) & only 2 entrees & one appetizer, the service went down. Also, I told them we were celebrating a birthday (waiter even said happy birthday), they did nothing. First restaurant I’ve ever been to where they didn’t even bring out something small with candle. Our bill was still over $110 so I feel like we still spent a good chunk of change. I was very disappointed. Restaurant not full either. I’ll go to city location instead.

The food was excellent and our service was good. We sat very close the another table and right next to a waiter’s stand. Just moved from Chicago and experience lacks compared to some big city offerings. A bit pricey for what we got.
