                                                                              We decided to give this place a try despite it not being busy on a Saturday night. The restaurant decor and menu was in line with the French bistro theme. However the service was bizarre, the bus boy was hovering. The waitress wore cloves the entire time, never changing them once. I’m not sure why she was wearing them. Very unsanitary. I was very uncomfortable with this. We ordered the hamburger medium and it was more medium rare. I did not enjoy this experience. This place has a very strange vibe. The staff is odd.

                                                                              Made a reservation for 2 and we were seated right away. Everyone was super friendly and quick. We had the tartare appetizer, lamb chops, and gnocchi. Nothing was left behind... The food was super fresh and delicious! My husband doesn't typically like tuna, but he tried this and ate half my appetizer. I was so surprised!

                                                                              My burger came out well done despite asking for medium rare. The host and our waitress offered to redo it for me but I didn't want to contribute to waste. They ended up comping me for it. Everything else from the endive salad, to the escargot specially and my wife's Coq Au Vin were great. We would come back here again. I'll just stay away from the burger next time :-)

                                                                              Very friendly staff, especially the manager who is gracious and attentive; wants everything to be just right. Appreciate his considerations tonight! Top quality food which is excellent except the drinks should have a better pour, and the cappuccino was tasteless. No one rushes you and the restaurant feels like a bistro in France. Prices can be more reasonable for a restaurant on Delancey, but it’s 2025. Will return.

                                                                              Overall fantastic place, great service and excellent food. A real bistro. Balthazar for us is not worth the trip anymore after discovering this one

                                                                              Had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the food—went with French comfort food on a bitter cold night: cassoulet and salmon, both very good. Wait staff was wonderful and it was my birthday so they did what I wish all restaurants would do: give you a little celebration without drawing everyone's attention to you! Will definitely go back.
