                                                  With so many wonderful upscale restaurants to choose from in the Miami Design District, we had a certain expectation level for service from Le Jardinier. On a quiet Sunday evening the restaurant was hardly busy yet we were practically abandoned by the waitstaff who kept switching servers on us- we had no idea who is taking care of us and had to continually call them over for assistance. When our food finally came, it was lukewarm at best. A disappointing evening to say the least.

                                                  The food was fantastic although I was a little surprised that they brought olive oil instead of butter with their amazing breads. Just ask them for butter and they will bring it as well. But its a French restaurant….bring the butter. From the time we arrived until we left after our last course, both the experience and the food were amazing. Julien the Sommelier selected wonderful wines for our tasting menu. His selections were perfect for each course. Friendly staff, outstanding food. Get there while prices are still reasonable. This place is on the rise.

                                                  We went for an office holiday party. The service was impeccable. The food was beautifully presented. The butterfly dessert was a piece of art: They had gluten-free bread rolls and ice cream. This delighted one person in our group.

                                                  Our group came to La Jardinier for a birthday brunch, and I’m afraid we had absolutely no complaints. The cocktails were dangerously good, the food was perfectly executed, and the ambiance? Unreasonably beautiful. It’s as if they’ve mastered every detail, from the attentive service to the flawless atmosphere and left us with no choice but to have a wonderful time. If you’re looking for a spot to celebrate or simply enjoy an excellent meal, we reluctantly recommend La Jardinier. Just be prepared, it might ruin other restaurants for you.

                                                  If you want exceptional cuisine in a quiet, chic, reserved restaurant, Le Jardinier is a great choice. Food is inventive and delicious, plating is gorgeous, service is impeccable, and the setting on the terrace is divine.

                                                  Appetizers and desserts were of interest, but fish courses were average. Service was spotty and unprofessional for a one Michelin star restaurant. The inside venue along the bar is also subpar for this level restaurant. This was a disappointment.

                                                  Very disappointed, everything was over salted, and cool to touch. The cauliflower veloute was so salty I couldn’t even taste the cauliflower, and was served room temperature . The risotto was served cool ( not warm) and again so salty I couldn’t taste the butternut squash. The servers were very nice and attentive but the food was not up to par.
