We chose this restaurant to celebrate New Year’s based on our fantastic experience in 2023. Unfortunately, this visit was markedly different, with significant disorganization and safety concerns that overshadowed our evening. Upon arrival, our table was not fully set up, and trays meant for waitstaff were left on our chairs, which we had to return ourselves. From there, confusion around our drinks and orders added to the disarray. The most alarming part of the experience was finding sharp pieces of thick plastic in my main dish—not once but twice. I notified the staff immediately, and while they replaced the dish, I was surprised to receive the same meal with extra sauce added, which made me uneasy about eating it. Sadly, I found more plastic in the replacement dish, leading me to return the food altogether. Additionally, the water I ordered arrived with a dead fly in the glass. While the staff kindly compensated for my main dish, there were no further gestures or acknowledgment from management for the repeated safety issues. Considering the severity of finding plastic in my food, I would have appreciated more concern or action to address the matter. I understand it must be a busy time for the restaurant, and I want to acknowledge the waitstaff’s kindness and genuine efforts amidst the chaos. However, this experience left me feeling uneasy and disappointed, particularly as we had high expectations based on our previous visit. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe the restaurant has potential and can do much better. For now, I cannot see myself returning, but I truly hope improvements are made for future guests.

The restaurant is beautiful, the service impeccable and efficient. From the host to the servers everyone was very polite. I guess I was just disappointed with the quality of the food. The fish was tasteless, my rice wasn’t cooked properly (part of it was still a bit raw), I was expecting better quality. The dessert was good, we ordered profiteroles, they were yummy. Wine selection was great as well.

Cute bistro in old Montreal. Staff is pleasant and bilingual. Food cost is reasonable for the area. Wine is rather pricey. We ordered calamari to start. It was ok, small portion for the cost. Followed by delicious generous salad with goat cheese. As well, an order of seafood paella. Beautiful presentation and was tasty although somewhat greasy which was unexpected.

Le meilleur dîner que nous avons eut à Montréal. Service et gentillesse extraordinaire. Le repas … quoi dire ? Parfait est trop faible , je rêve déjà de revenir à Montréal juste pour avoir le bonheur de dîner à nouveau dans ce restaurant. Merci à vous

We had a Christmas dinner here. They had holiday menu. You also can order from regular menu. The food was delicious. We loved all our meals. The service was excellent. We were very happy we picked this restaurant for holiday meal.
