Leticia's Cocina was created by Chef Leticia in 2009... She was inspired as a young girl at her mother's side in the kitchen. Leticia learned her passion to create the fresh authentic flavors of Mexico at her mother's side in that cocina, and now she loves to share that passion and those flavors with her community!

I had four guest for dinner at 5:30PM. We got seated right away. The server came, give us our dinks that we ordered. We then proceed to order our food and service was good. When the food came out, it was all mixed up. I had order Shrimp enchiladas and something else was served to me. When my guest was half done with their food, my order finally came. The shrimp enchilada was not hot, but luckily, the shrimp was cooked, and the white sauce was warm. My guest also said their food was prepared OK, but not hot. The soup was good and hot, but she said it tasted like it has been sitting in the pot for hours and not prepared properly when she ordered it.

This is a nice restaurant for a family outing, offering a great atmosphere to sit down and enjoy the experience together. However, I wasn’t too fond of our seating, as it was right in front of and next to the bar area, which felt busy. The food was decent, though my mole was a bit too salty for my taste. Some family members ordered the carne asada and found the meat to be a bit tough. Despite the minor setbacks, we had a great time, especially since we were celebrating a special occasion.

We eat here fairly regularly & get good service & good food. But last night, we had to wait a half hour past our reservation time with no updates or explanations, but "soon". I have blood sugar issues & had an incident earlier in the day. At 15 minutes after our reservation time, the 3rd time we checked in, I was told our table was "soon". We weren't seated for another 15 minutes. We noticed that multiple groups were showing up while we stood there for a half hour & they were being seated before we were seated. This is why we stopped going to another neighborhood Mexican restaurant because they wouldn't honor the reservation times. I hope this isn't what's happening at Leticia's. After we got in, our service was good, as well as the food. The busser was very attentive, as well as our server. But waiting a half hour past our expected reservation time left the kids grumpy and I was quite shaky.

Everything was good with the one exception that my carne asada street tacos were dry. The meat which was cut in small cubes was tender enough but, over cooked making them dry.

The food was amazing! Staff was on top of everything. I do wish the waiter would of talked to us more and go over menu and talk us.

I ordered the Pescado Al Pastor which is normally excellent there. However this time it was so salty I couldn’t eat it at all. They were going to make it over for me which was fine except that it took way too long, and I ended up canceling the order. Everyone else we were with was long since finished with their meal. Very disappointing ! The service was good otherwise, and they tried to make it right by taking it off the check, but I left hungry.

Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow and had to ask for napkins and silverware after we received food. This was the third time asking for it. Appetizers and other food came before silverware or napkins. Server was nice but felt she was taksed with too many tables that were large groups and we got forgotten about. Will go back, but service needs attention.
