Levan is a restaurant in the heart of Peckham serving contemporary European dishes, inspired by the ‘bistronomy’ movement and our favourite eateries in Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Stockholm and Berlin, with a focus on low intervention wines. Join us for dinner and lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We offer an a la carte menu and a £65pp chefs tasting menu. Groups over 5 will be asked to dine from the chefs menu.

Please check our website for our most up to date offering.

Seatings are for 2 hours, after which we may require the table back.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance. We may not be able to cater to them without advanced notice.

If you arrive late for your booking we may ask you to choose from a reduced menu.

Cancellations - we are a small, independent restaurant, so please let us know if you cannot make your reservation.

  • Yonder presents Nostalgia - Levan x Ed Wilson

    We are partnering with Yonder to bring a night to remember. We're teaming up with our good friend Ed Wilson of widely celebrated Brawn to bring a nostalgia inspired 5-course menu. And to make it an extra special night, Yonder will be stepping in to throw back pricing. Tickets are worth £90 but guests will only pay only £50 + service charge. No change from a £50, but banging value. Tickets include a 5-course tasting menu and one drink per person. Tickets are non-refundable and prepayment in full will be taken upon confirmation of all bookings. The price indicated covers event costs only. Details and prices are subject to change. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is limited. Owing to the nature of this event, the menu will unfortunately not be able to cater to any dietary requirements.

    Really wonderful lunch. Beautiful flavours and presentation. Our server was very attentive too. Altogether a very enjoyable experience and I will definitely visit again.

    WOW! We finally got around to visiting Levan and it was incredible! Only wished that we'd visited sooner. Every plate was delicious, the pork was exceptional! The staff were all friendly and helpful! Our only negative was the lighting, it was a tiny bit dark, especially when trying to read the menus!

    Great food, excellent service in a very nice setting. Worth the travel if you’re from the other side of the river. If you’re in South East London, you’re soooooo lucky!

    Great setting, limited menu but some well delivered plates. Overall doesn’t support the price tag, much relieved to have not ventured near the wines priced at £80-£300 (making up the majority of their list) as food would not have done them justice and bill already came to nearly £100 a head. But the place is completely let down by the service, felt like everyone was brand new to the job, let alone the restaurant. 16 tables in the main area, 4 staff (so plenty) - but we got brought wrong drinks 3 times, had to chase a number of times, offered Rosé as a replacement to the red they didn’t have. 3 tables around us asked or were offered items taken off the bill and as we left a table of 4 next to us had been served 3 mains and were still waiting on the 4th - 10 minutes later. Overall a real shame, as so much to make this place great, but manages to successfully under deliver on most. Hadn’t been for 2 years, will likely wait at least that long again.

    Hi Lucy, thank you very much for your review. Can I begin by saying how sorry I am for your experience at Levan on Saturday. A night which was challenging in many ways, some beyond our control, others not. Since Wednesday last week, nearly the whole of Blenheim Grove have had power cuts, causing some lighting, power to parts of the kitchen and our wifi to stop working. This threw many challenges our way, the kitchen had to adapt to less cooking equipment, we had to hand write the orders for the kitchen and bar, and, as your experience shows a new and inexperienced team. Pretty much a perfect storm, which you a few others got caught up in and for which we are so very sorry. I’ve sent you a private message which I hope you’ll response to our thoughts and offer.     Lovely restaurant! There was a power cut on the street which restricted the number of dishes available, but this wasn’t noticeable as the food available was delicious and the restaurant had a nice vibe!
